Grand Theft Auto
I know this post is around 5-10 years late. I do not, however, give a shit.
Remember playing cops and robbers in the backyard as 7 year old? Or perhaps cowboys and indians was more your thing...either way

Greetings from Cloud 9!
Greetings Earthlings:
My name is TRON...through this blog I plan on posting stuff regarding current life experiments I am engaged in, along with random thoughts, ideas, and visions picked from my brain and flicked at yours...much like a booger, however, more hygienic.
So join me on the ether and share if you feel like sharing, lol if you feel like loling, rolf if that's more your thing, like it if that's your thing (although I must say this feature of social media is slightly redundant), or hate it...and I'll blog it; together we will be unstoppable.
The first experiment I am currently engaged in has to do with good ol' Marijuana; ever heard of it?!
My experiment, actually, has nothing to do with the consumption or smoking of said herb. Rather it is a 30 day experiment designed to help me stop smoking marijuana. That's right folks, you could say I am a recovering pothead and you'd be right, but guess what???!!!
==> This blog will function as a diary of sorts documenting my daily trials and tribulations, successes and failures, the grass which I pass on, and other shit. So join me in my journey; one of the things I would appreciate is sharing.
I would appreciate your insights, relations to personal experience, advice warnings, encouragement, etc.
One of the most important things for me to remember throughout this process is vigilance. The brain is surprisingly powerful in its ability to get what it wants, and for the past six or seven years of my life it has been well-exposed to the chemical THC and is effectively used to its presence.
DAY 1:
This is not that first time I have gone without weed folks, however, my approach this time is new. Historically, I have taken breaks from smoking weed for chunks of time, either for health reasons (getting over the flu) or for academic reasons (endless grinding at the library) and I have managed reasonably well.
After my sober stints i often say to myself, "Wow, you feel great and do not crave Pot...so, do not smoke it when you next can..." Oopss, even though I have moved on from weed I always wind up coming home to it.
It provides a sort of comfort and isolation which is both protective and addicting in ways.
Anyways, whenever I have downtime (today) my brain goes, "Okay, where's the THC?" or "hit me with a joint, I am ready" or shit like "go buy weed you monkey!", and mentally the lack of THC confuses my brain.
Therefore, the part of my brain which interprets these chemical nuances and fluctuations into actual "cogent thoughts" and tells me that 'smoking weed will make me feel better' must be extra vigilant. Vigilant, knowing that the brain is highly conditioned and adaptable and that even though habit says to do something a certain way (even if it is something like what position you sleep in at night, how you brush your teeth, etc.), that actually what my heart wants and its voice in my brain is to be weed-free, mood-stable, and healthier.
I read somewhere, I think Outside Magazine, that multi-tasking functions like a narcotic in the brain and actually releases dopamine...How could I incorporate multi-tasking into my life advantageously???
